Acacia Brianne Bowens is the Owner and CEO of AK’s GraFix & Photography. With over 6 years of experience in the field, she has mastered the craft of graphic design, marketing and branding, photography, social media management, and web design. Acacia attended the University of Florida where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Nonprofit Organizational Leadership. She continued her education at the University of Central Florida where she pursued a Masters in Nonprofit Management.

Acacia has a strong passion for education and her community. She has spent much of her career focused on helping to uplift local nonprofits and her community as a whole. She has worked both domestically and internationally with a wide variety of organizations including Children Beyond Our Borders, The Education Foundation of Alachua County, and The Community Foundation of North Central Florida. While at The Community Foundation she helped to develop the Center for Nonprofit Excellence, a program developed to help organizations on a wide variety of topics including marketing, branding, fundraising, and more. This program continues to thrive today.

Today, she continues her efforts and has expanded to universities, small and start-up businesses. She has served as a consultant and has helped organizations expand their reach, increase sales and fundraising, and overall visibility through the use of branding, marketing and social media management.

Her love of psychology and art & design has allowed her to focus on how factors like color and typography can spark an emotional reaction in an audience. She has begun working on creating innovative new ways to combine these factors and apply them to campaigns that result in big returns. Acacia prides herself on hard work, dedication, and attention to detail. She strives to create consistent professional brands that bring any vision to life.
